Campcom is an international video game developer, originally based in Japan. Founded in May 30, 1979 as JCC (Japan Capsule Computers). The name Capcom came from the name Capsule Computer. Capcom released many successful games such as Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Street Fighters. Capcom publishes and distributes Grand Theft Auto in Japan.
