Orbs in Devil May Cry 3

A list of all the orbs that can be obtained during the course of the game.

[edit] Blue Orbs

These whole orbs will extend Dante's life bar allowing him to take more damage before being killed. You can only purchase these whole blue orbs from the Statue of Time or collect 4 Blue Orb Fragments that can be found through-out the game. The cost in red orbs increases with each purchase.

• 1st - 5'000
• 2nd - 10'000
• 3rd - 15'000
• 4th - 20'000
• 5th - 30'000
• 6th - 50'000

[edit] Green Orbs

These are obtained sometimes by killing enemies but also can be found dotted around levels. They recover some of Dante's health, the bigger ones will replenish more health.

[edit] Purple Orbs

This item can only be bought at the Statue of Time. It will increase Dante's Devil Trigger gauge to allow him to stay in Devil Trigger for a longer period of time. The cost in red orbs increases with each purchase.

• 2nd - 5'000
• 3rd - 7'000
• 4th - 9'000
• 5th - 10'000
• 6th - 20'000
• 7th - 30'000

[edit] Reb Orbs

These are obtained from killing enemies. The higher your style ranking is when you deliver the killing blow the more red orbs you will get. They are used for purchasing items and moves for your weapons from the Statue of Time.

These are obtained sometimes by killing enemies but can also be found dotted around levels. They recover some of Dante's Devil Trigger, the bigger ones will replenish more than the smaller ones.

[edit] Yellow Orbs

This item can be bought from the Statue of Time and found in the game. When Dante dies, this orb will allow him to start at the entrance of the previous room he was in without having to start the level again. The cost in red orbs increases with each purchase.
